Book Review~Unsinkable: A Young Woman's Courageous Battle on the High Seas by AbbySunderland and Lynn Vincent

Book RatingsBook Ratings
Loved the idea of this book, thought it would be great read for the middle school students who visit the library. It was exciting and interesting to read, but the sailing language was a little too specific for a layperson (especially younger readers). Though Abby's independence and drive are admirable, I think those involved in rescuing her deserve more recognition.

Book Review~Never Knowing by Chevy Stevens

Book RatingsBook RatingsBook Ratings
Never Knowing grabbed on and wouldn't let me go. However, about halfway through, I started to get really irritated by the narrator, Sara. She was neurotic and obsessive and I think her fiance, Evan was ridiculously patient with her.

Similar to Still Missing, Chevy Stevens did not disappoint-with a surprise twist at the end. I found both Still Missing and Never Knowing to be compelling reads, but this one felt a bit forced at times.

Thank you to St. Martin's Press and Goodreads First Reads for the ARC.
