Book Review~The Girl in the Green Raincoat: A Tess Monaghan Novel by Laura Lippman

A cute story about a pregnant private investigator put on bed rest. As one might expect, she manages to find a case (after asking her boyfriend to secure her a pair of binoculars). When the woman in the green raincoat who has been visiting the dog park nearby seems to have disappeared, Tess is determined to find out what happened to her. Her investigating leads her to a husband with multiple dead wives who died under suspicious circumstances. Definitely a fast read. A rather short book, I'd recommend it as a travel book to be read on the plane.

Book Review~Love You More by Lisa Gardner

I received this book for free through Goodreads First Reads. It's been quite a while since I've read anything by Lisa Gardner. I'm pretty sure the last one was Hide or Alone. She definitely makes you want to read on to find out how the story will unfold, good for a quick read without a lot of substance. The premise was interesting, making a choice between one's child or one's husband. There were a couple of unexpected twists and turns. Would recommend as a summer read.
